I’m Chris Endecott—Creative Director, Copywriter, and someone who really loves a good idea. I’ve been doing this for over ten years, working across brands, platforms, and industries. I’m American, but born and raised in Germany – which means I overthink things in two languages and try to blend efficiency with a bit of laid-back optimism.
I’m into creativity, tech, and finding better ways to tell stories that feel honest and actually land. And when I’m not doing that, I’m a husband and dad to three amazing, chaotic little humans – who’ve taught me more about teamwork, patience, and improvisation than any job ever could.I try to bring all of that into my work: curiosity, clarity, and a sense of humor (because without that, what’s the point?).
Creative work should feel fresh and make an impact—no gimmicks, no filler. I focus on ideas that hit the mark and keep things interesting, both for the audience and the people creating them.
Here’s how I do it:
1. Ask the right questions
Why should anyone care? What makes this stand out? Starting with the tough questions helps me get to ideas that matter. If the answer’s not good enough, we dig deeper until it is.
2. Test, tweak, and then repeat
I believe creativity is a craft—it's all about refining. Good ideas get better when you try things out, break them down, and build them back up. I embrace the process, even if it gets a little messy.
3. Mix curiosity with strategy
I’m a bit of a tech geek, always keeping an eye on what’s new (AI, digital trends, social shifts). But it’s not about chasing shiny objects. I use tech and trends to amplify ideas, not distract from them.
Anti FAQs – Questions you probably didn’t ask
Pretty much, yes. It covers my thinning hair and (hopefully) makes me look younger. The only exceptions? Church and my mom’s dinner table – some traditions you just don’t mess with.
Ah, the age-old question. Philosophically, I’m a blend of both. But if it comes down to sports, I’ve got to go with Eintracht Frankfurt – sorry, Chicago Bulls, you’ve been benched.
It’s a daily juggling act. Campaign reviews, creative brainstorms, and deciding who gets the last bowl of Cap’n Crunch Berries cereal. You learn to stay flexible and keep your negotiation skills on point.
Wrestling. Yep, WWE to be exact. Larger-than-life characters, over-the-top drama, and steel chairs to the face – it’s the perfect creative escape.
