In 2023, Mastercard took its sponsorship of the Berlinale to the next level by shining a spotlight on diversity and inclusion. Under the campaign platform introduced that year and carried forward into 2024, we celebrated cinema’s power to break down barriers and connect people through shared stories and dreams. I was part of the team that developed and executed the concept, showcasing Mastercard’s commitment to inclusivity. From supporting Berlinale Talents, which empowers 200 aspiring film professionals across 14 disciplines, to creating priceless experiences like red carpet moments and exclusive screenings, the campaign brought the Berlinale closer to audiences. With a 360° approach spanning digital, social, out-of-home, print, and live events, the campaign connected with audiences worldwide, using the universal language of film to inspire change.
