Creative Director

I’m Chris Endecott.
I write, I concept, I create.
And I try not to overcomplicate things
while doing it.
Let's talk

I’ve been making creative stuff for brands for over 10 years. Some of it even on purpose. Words, ideas, concepts. It’s all fair game if it works and makes people care.

I’m a copywriter who also gets design, a strategist who’s not afraid of a trend, and a bit of a tech nerd who believes AI can elevate stories and not replace them.

I’ve worked with great people, made work I’m proud of, and learned that creativity and kindness aren’t mutually exclusive.

So, if you have a project, a brief, or just want to chat, I’m all ears.

What makes me different?

Where ideas are born (and occasionally survive).

Coming up with concepts isn’t about chasing shiny things or stapling “disruptive” to everything. It’s about finding an idea that actually makes sense and then making sure it doesn’t die in a 47-person feedback loop.
Big thinking, not big talk
Digital-first, channel-aware, reality-checked
Made to survive feedback loops

Words. In two languages. Used responsibly.

I write copy that sounds like a person wrote it. A person with taste. Whether it’s German, English, or the beautiful mess in between, I make sure every word earns its place. Unless it’s lorem ipsum, then sure, go wild.
DE/EN copy without the lost-in-translation energy
From big brand lines to tiny CTAs (yes, they matter)
Tone of voice that’s more than just “witty but approachable”

For people who scroll fast and judge hard.

Digital is messy. Social is brutal. I make content that feels right where it lands: authentic, relevant, and blessedly free of “we just cut down the TV spot” energy.
Ideas made for the platform, not just shoved onto it
Trend-aware, algorithm-respecting, audience-honoring
Content that knows when to shut up (rare skill)

Thinking before doing. Wild, I know.

Creative needs direction. Not 50 slides of facts, just a clear understanding of what we’re doing and why. Strategy should be useful, inspiring, and ideally take less time to read than the Terms & Conditions.
Brand platforms that aren’t copy-paste clichés
Insights that spark ideas, not yawns
Creative filters that help ideas thrive and not just survive

Curious about what’s next. Selectively impressed.

I love playing with new tools, especially when they help tell better stories. AI? Fantastic. As long as it’s not used to replace creativity, empathy, or, you know… actual thinking.
Smart AI use that enhances, not erases
Creative tech with a purpose
Open to new things, allergic to gimmicks
